September 18, 2023 – (Santa Ana, CA) – Nicole C. Barilla has joined Hawkins Parnell & Young as a partner in the Orange County office, where she will be a member of the firm's Transportation, Premises Liability, and Construction practice groups.

Ryan M. Sellers, a partner in the firm’s Orange County office, said, “Nicole is an innovative and successful lawyer who brings more than 14 years of litigation experience handling cases, from inception, in the areas of general liability, premises liability, public entity law, business contracts and negotiations. We are excited to add her to our West Coast presence, which expanded in January with the arrival of more than 50 lawyers.”

Nicole has significant experience with high-exposure catastrophic injury defense, representing carriers and clients in the auto insurance, ride-share, and commercial real estate industries for civil matters, including pre-litigation claims and UM/UIM defense. She has taken and defended countless depositions and has second chair trial experience. Prior to becoming a litigator, she was corporate counsel for a restaurant group.

Nicole is licensed in California and earned her JD from Chapman University School of Law and her B.S. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
