July 25, 2018 (Dallas, TX) – Hawkins Parnell & Young is pleased to announce that Douglas R. Simek has joined the firm in the Dallas office.

Simek brings more than 15 years of experience as a trial lawyer and litigator defending corporations in product liability and toxic tort litigation. He has extensive experience representing manufacturers and distributors of products in the automotive, aviation, industrial, and consumer markets.

Prior to joining HPY, Simek was a shareholder at Sutter O’Connell Co. in Cleveland, Ohio. He is licensed and practices law in Ohio and Tennessee.

Simek received his undergraduate degree in 1998 from the University of Dayton and his law degree in 2002 from Cleveland State University, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.
