June 11, 2024 (Chicago, IL) – Daisy Denizard in Hawkins Parnell & Young's Chicago office was appointed to the Illinois Defense Counsel Board of Directors.

Daisy commented, "I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the IDC as it celebrates its 60th anniversary. It is a great association with exceptional attorneys dedicated to improving the judicial system and the practice of law in Illinois."

The Illinois Defense Counsel advances the interests of the defense bar. Members devote a substantial portion of their practice to representing business, corporate, insurance, professional, and other individual defendants in civil litigation.

Daisy advises and represents clients in complex litigation, insurance issues, and risk management. As national coordinating counsel and local counsel in Illinois and Wisconsin, she defends corporations in litigation involving mass torts and toxic exposures to asbestos, talcum powder, and various chemicals. In addition, Daisy chairs the Judicial Evaluations Committee of the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois.
