Rob Gilbreath Elected to Texas Bar Foundation
September 17, 2020 (Dallas, TX) – Hawkins Parnell & Young partner Robert B. Gilbreath was elected to membership in the Fellows of the Texas Bar Foundation. Membership is composed of the most elite Texas attorneys.
Each year, the top one-third of one percent of Texas attorneys are invited to become Fellows of the Texas Bar Foundation. Election is one of the highest honors that can be bestowed upon a member of the State Bar of Texas. Nomination is based on outstanding contributions to the legal profession as well as a commitment to the community. Once selected, each nominee must be elected by the Texas Bar Foundation Board of Trustees.
The Texas Bar Foundation is the largest charitably funded bar foundation in the nation. The Texas Bar Foundation solicits charitable contributions and provides funding to enhance the rule of law and the system of justice in Texas, especially for programs that relate to legal assistance for the underserved, the administration of justice, ethics in the legal profession, the encouragement of legal research, publications and forums, and education of the third branch of government. To date, the Texas Bar Foundation has awarded more than $20 million in grants to charitable organizations across Texas.
