August 6, 2014 (Dallas, TX) – Hawkins Parnell & Young partner Rob Gilbreath obtained a major appellate victory in a long-running legal battle between television and radio media companies. The Fifth Court of Appeals for the State of Texas has reversed a summary judgment that would have awarded over $6 million to companies suing HPY’s client companies. The decision, handed down August 6, sends the case back to the lower court for a trial on the merits of this dispute over who breached a complicated asset purchase agreement involving the sale of radio and television stations.
