LA Times Names Elaine Fresch and Jerry Popovich as Legal Visionaries
December 2, 2024 (Los Angeles, CA) – Hawkins Parnell & Young partners Elaine Fresch and Jerry Popovich were named 2024 Legal Visionaries by the Los Angeles Times. The list recognizes high-caliber attorneys for their "exceptional skill and dedication" and "commitment to excellence, thought leadership, and impactful contributions to both their clients and the broader legal community" in Southern California.
Fresch is partner-in-charge of the firm's Los Angeles office and Chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. For her work in the construction sector, she has been honored with numerous accolades, including being named to the National Law Journal's list of Real Estate/Construction Law Trailblazers, the Daily Journal's Top 100 Women Lawyers in California, and Thomson Reuters' Top 50 Women in Southern California Super Lawyers for the past decade. She serves on CLM’s Construction Advisory Board, was a past co-chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and teaches at CLM Claims College School of Construction. Fresch is also a charter fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America and received the Larry Syhre Commitment to Service Award for her contributions to the industry.
Popovich is partner-in-charge of Hawkins Parnell's Orange County office and among California's most recognized trial lawyers in high-stakes litigation involving product liability, catastrophic injuries, or fatalities.
