Hawkins Parnell's Evelyn Davis to Lecture at FDCC's Insurance Industry Institute

November 3, 2025 (Atlanta, GA) – Hawkins Parnell & Young partner Evelyn Fletcher Davis is presenting at the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel Insurance Industry Institute (I-3), taking place November 5-7 in New York City.

Davis will speak on the section titled “The Face of Your Case: Presenting the Claim Professional for Deposition” with co-panelists Clay Crawford of Baker Sterchi and Andrew Downs of Clyde & Co. The discussion will focus on the opportunities and risks insurers face when preparing claim professionals for depositions—the individuals who often serve as the face of the company. Panelists will explore best practices, common pitfalls, and strategies to optimize positive deposition outcomes.

The FDCC I-3 brings together senior insurance industry leaders, regulators, and thought leaders to discuss developments and trends in the domestic and international insurance marketplace. The program features a forward-looking agenda designed to address challenges and solutions presented by industry changes, as well as their impact on underwriting and claims.

Davis is the former Chair of FDCC's Law Practice Management Section, Vice Chair of Toxic Tort and Environmental Law Section, and Georgia Representative among State and International Representatives. She has been honored as one of Georgia's Most Powerful and Influential Women, and last month, she received DRI's Davis Carr Outstanding Committee Chair Award for 2025.
