Hawkins Parnell Ty Brown Inaugurated President of the Atlanta Bar Association
May 27, 2025 (Atlanta, GA) – Hawkins Parnell & Young partner E. Tyron Brown was sworn in as President of the Atlanta Bar Association for the 2025-2026 bar year.
Brown's election marks another historic milestone in a distinguished record of service. He previously chaired both the Construction Section and the Litigation Section, and under his leadership—two years apart—each section earned the coveted "Section of the Year" award. It is the first and only time in the Atlanta Bar Association's nearly 140‑year history that one individual has guided two different sections to that honor.

Brown represents some of the world's most recognizable Fortune 500 companies in lawsuits involving complex construction issues, commercial disputes, and other high‑stakes business litigation. He is recognized in the latest editions of The Best Lawyers in America and Georgia Super Lawyers, and he is a past recipient of both the National Bar Association's President's Award and Attorney of the Year by the Gate City Bar Judicial Section.

Brown joined Hawkins Parnell in 2000 and is licensed in Florida and Georgia. He obtained his J.D. and B.S. from Florida State University.
