Hawkins Parnell Partners Named in 2026 Texas Super Lawyers Lists 

October 8, 2026 (Dallas, TX) – Hawkins Parnell partners Robert Gilbreath and Chelcie Charles were recognized in the 2026 Texas Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists, respectively. Super Lawyers uses a patented process of independent research and peer input to select no more than 5% of Texas lawyers for the Super Lawyers list and 2.5% under 40 for the Rising Stars list.

Gilbreath, who chairs Hawkins Parnell's Appellate group, has more than 36 years of appellate experience and has handled more than 250 appeals and original proceedings in state and federal courts across the country, including the United States Supreme Court, multiple federal courts of appeals, the Supreme Court of Texas, the New York Court of Appeals, the Arizona Supreme Court, and the Georgia Supreme Court. He has argued more than 150 appeals.

Charles defends corporations and businesses in complex premises liability and product liability cases across Texas and Arizona. She has also been selected to Best Lawyers' Ones to Watch list for the past two years, The National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 list for three consecutive years, and to D Magazine’s 2027 Best Lawyers Under 40 list.
