Kristy Nguyen represents global corporations in high-stakes litigation involving commercial general liability, premises liability, product liability, and toxic exposures. Her clients include manufacturers, transportation companies, property owners, and other businesses facing significant liability and reputational exposure.

Kristy defends matters at every phase of litigation, from inception through trial and appeal. She recently served as trial counsel in a sensitive sexual assault premises liability case in Georgia in which the plaintiff sought nearly $8 million. Kristy delivered the opening statement and cross-examined the plaintiff, navigating highly sensitive testimony while developing admissions important to the defense and helping limit a jury award to only $15,000 in a challenging trial.

Kristy has earned recognition at both the state and national levels for her work. She was recently named “Best of the Best” at the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association’s 2026 Trial & Mediation Academy, selected to Thomson Reuters’ latest Rising Stars list in Georgia, and recognized in Best Lawyers’ 2027 Ones to Watch list for product liability litigation.

Before joining Hawkins Parnell, Kristy served as a staff attorney for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, giving her firsthand insight into the federal appellate process and how courts evaluate the record, briefing, and legal arguments. During her second year at the Eleventh Circuit, she was selected to be part of a specialized team that assisted the Court with its initial review of appeals to determine appellate jurisdiction.
