Julie L. Batz

Biography

Julie Batz defends large corporations, small businesses, and private individuals in high-stakes litigation involving significant financial exposure or sensitive allegations. She has extensive experience managing complex disputes, including premises liability, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, habitability claims, and easement disputes. Julie has mediated a significant number of cases to successful resolution and has handled over 50 jury and bench trials across California.

Before establishing her private practice, Julie represented seniors and dependent adults in Alameda County Superior Court through her work with a nonprofit organization. She also guided clients through naturalization processes in interviews with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Julie continues her commitment to public service as the Vice President of Legal Access Alameda, the nonprofit arm of the Alameda County Bar Association, where she previously served as President.
