Christian Cousar

Biography

Christian Cousar represents clients in complex mass tort and premises liability litigation.  Christian serves as national coordinating counsel teams for multiple corporations defending asbestos and talc cases throughout the country.

Prior to joining Hawkins Parnell, Christian served as an Assistant State’s Attorney for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, prosecuting felony and misdemeanor offenses. He gained extensive litigation experience in his capacity as a prosecutor, bringing over 80 bench and jury trials to verdict. Christian also possesses a wealth of experience representing insurance carriers, employers, and corporate clients in Illinois Workers’ Compensation matters, and served as a Special Assistant State’s Attorney for Cook County while in private practice, defending Cook County employers in Workers’ Compensation cases.
