Two Attorneys Join Chicago Office of Hawkins Parnell & Young
March 6, 2020 (Chicago, IL) – Meghan P. Murray and Shaharyar Ansari have joined the Chicago office of Hawkins Parnell & Young. Their arrival brings the firm’s team of Illinois-attorneys to 20.
Meghan Murray handles complex litigation and toxic tort disputes. She is skilled in all stages of litigation and has conducted several trials and appeals as lead counsel. Meghan has drafted trial and appellate briefs. Prior to joining Hawkins Parnell & Young, Meghan’s litigation practice included the defense of workers’ compensation claims. She has a strong understanding of the implications of the Medicare Secondary Payer Act on case valuation and settlement agreements. Meghan received her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and B.A. at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Shaharyar Ansari defends companies in product liability, premises liability, and toxic tort litigation. He has also served clients in high value damage cases involving catastrophic injuries, medical malpractice, and a variety of other disputes. Shaharyar has substantive experience in written discovery and motion practice. Shaharyar obtained his J.D. from John Marshall Law School and undergraduate degree from the University of Ottawa in Ontario, Canada.
