Todd Alley Named Partner-in-Charge of Hawkins Parnell's South Carolina Office
June 16, 2023 (Charleston, SC) – Hawkins Parnell & Young has made Todd Alley partner-in-charge of the Charleston, South Carolina, office. The firm opened the Charleston office in 2022 in response to client needs in a challenging and evolving legal landscape for defendants.

Todd defends large corporations nationwide in toxic tort, environmental, and commercial litigation. With 30 years of experience, Todd has established a proven track record of managing complex litigation from investigation through trial and appeal. He has been lead or sole trial counsel in hundreds of jury and non-jury trials and appellate counsel before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia.
Before joining Hawkins Parnell, Todd was a prosecutor in the military, U.S. Department of Justice, and at the state level for nearly 20 years. He began his career as a prosecutor and paratrooper in the United States Army's Judge Advocate General's Corps. While in the United States Attorney's Office, he handled the most serious crimes, including murder, kidnapping, international drug trafficking, gang-related and racketeering activity, and terrorism.
Todd obtained his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1993 and his B.A. from Vanderbilt University in 1990. He is licensed in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and Texas.
