Los Angeles Attorneys Ranked as 2020 Southern California Super Lawyers

January 17, 2020 (Los Angeles, CA) – Hawkins Parnell & Young is pleased to announce that three partners from the Los Angeles office have been selected in the 2020 edition of Southern California Super Lawyers and Rising Stars. Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, recognizes the top lawyers in the region via a patented multiphase selection process involving peer nomination, independent research, and peer evaluation. The Rising Stars list recognizes no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in Southern California who are either 40 years old or younger, or in practice for 10 years or less. The ranked attorneys include:

• Michael B. Giaquinto (Rising Star) primarily defends corporations in product liability, class action, and mass toxic tort litigation. In the last several years, he has defended several complex product liability lawsuits with more than $100 million at risk. He has also been on the forefront of developing defenses in the cosmetic talcum powder litigation.
• Edward R. Ulloa (Super Lawyer) is a trial lawyer and litigation strategist whose national practice involves the defense of clients in high-risk, mass tort and products liability litigation, including asbestos, talc, e-cigarette and chemical exposure, flammable fabric and automotive product liability actions. He has served as first-chair trial counsel in over 50 jury trials in over a dozen states.
