Litigation Partner Michelle Watkins Joins Hawkins Parnell in Los Angeles
September 17, 2024 (Los Angeles, CA) – Hawkins Parnell & Young added litigator Michelle Watkins as a partner based in the firm's Los Angeles office.
Watkins has built a reputation for defending complex litigation throughout California for the government and entities in the construction, transportation, and manufacturing sectors. Her expertise in high-exposure cases spans catastrophic injuries and fatalities to construction defects, premises liability, and environmental issues.

Watkins joins Hawkins Parnell from Walsworth, where she was a partner. She has extensive experience handling complex, high-exposure civil litigation, focusing on public entity defense, professional liability claims, transportation and logistics disputes, and construction claims.

Watkins earned her B.A. in Political Science and Government from the University of California, Berkeley, M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Columbia University, and J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law. She is an adjunct professor at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, teaching California Civil Procedure.
