Jerry Popovich Selected as a Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers
June 12, 2026 (Santa Ana, CA) – Hawkins Parnell partner Jerry Popovich of the firm’s Orange County office has been selected as a Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers (IATL), one of the world’s foremost organizations of trial lawyers dedicated to civility, advocacy, and legal reform. Membership is by invitation following a rigorous vetting process and is limited to 500 active trial lawyers in the United States.
With more than 30 years of courtroom experience in high-stakes litigation, Popovich has tried over 80 cases involving product liability, toxic torts, catastrophic injuries, and commercial disputes. He has represented many prominent companies such as MGM Resorts, Lyft, Live Nation, BorgWarner, and Pep Boys.
This honor makes Popovich one of only a few trial lawyers in the United States admitted to all four of the most prestigious trial organizations. In addition to the IATL, he is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL), an Advocate-level member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), and a member of the International Society of Barristers (ISOB).
