HPY Obtains Dismissal in Putative Class Action Robo-Foreclosure Case

July 1, 2011 (Atlanta, GA) – When a prominent Atlanta, Georgia law firm, practicing in the area of real estate foreclosure, found itself facing class action allegations of wrongful foreclosure, fraud, RICO, RESPA, FDCPA, wire fraud, and other claims in a robo-foreclosure case against several major mortgage lenders, it turned to partner T. Ryan Mock Jr. Hawkins Parnell & Young promptly analyzed the complex and numerous claims, and filed a motion to dismiss each of the several counts. On July 27, 2011, the Federal District Court issued a 72 page order agreeing that each of the claims against the client-law firm should be dismissed.
