Hawkins Parnell Secures Dismissal for Retailer in Los Angeles Product Liability Litigation

March 28, 2023 (Los Angeles, CA) – Michael Giaquinto of Hawkins Parnell & Young obtained a dismissal for a national department store chain in a personal injury product liability case involving personal care products.

At the plaintiff's deposition, Hawkins Parnell secured admissions that negated the allegations in the complaint and written discovery that the plaintiff purchased cosmetic products at one of the department store locations in California. Rather than oppose a motion for summary judgment based on those admissions, the plaintiff dismissed Hawkins Parnell's client.
