Evelyn Davis Interviewed by Law360 on Launching a National PFAS Practice at Hawkins Parnell

November 16, 2021 (Atlanta, GA) – Evelyn Fletcher Davis, a senior partner and a leader of the toxic tort and environmental litigation group at Hawkins Parnell & Young, was interviewed by Law360 about starting a national team to advise and defend clients in litigation involving per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).

Hawkins Parnell created its national PFAS practice after clients in the first few months of the year started reaching out to the firm with PFAS-related concerns, Davis said.

"We met with experts to learn more about the science and the status of the science," Davis said. "And we've been tracking some of the litigation that is happening around the nation. I certainly think our history in 35 years of working in mass torts and product liability cases involving toxic exposures like this puts us in a good position to work on cases like this."
