Biography
Katie Greffet has over a decade of experience defending companies in complex product and premises liability and toxic tort matters. She has represented numerous Fortune 500 corporations involved in the manufacture and distribution of construction materials, HVAC equipment, cosmetics, plastic compounds, motors, welding rods, industrial process equipment and heavy machinery, as well as commercial and industrial premises owners. Katie manages hundreds of product liability claims across Missouri and Illinois. She is involved in every aspect of litigation, and has extensive experience conducting fact and expert witness depositions, drafting and arguing dispositive motions, negotiating settlements and dismissals, and preparing cases for trial.
Katie has served as second and first chair counsel in several jury trials to verdict in both state and federal court, and as lead counsel in numerous binding arbitrations and mediations. In addition to her toxic tort defense practice, Katie has represented clients in the areas of business litigation, personal injury, medical malpractice, and criminal defense. She also has appellate experience in both state and federal courts, including briefing and arguing cases across a wide range of legal fields.
