Jenna Melton Fowler represents a variety of defendants ranging from small privately-held companies to large public corporations involved in the manufacture, distribution, and sale of products for commercial, industrial, and consumer markets. Her practice includes the defense of complex product liability and toxic tort claims. Jenna advocates for her clients through all stages of litigation from pleadings into trial and appeals. She regularly argues discovery and dispositive motions, presents and cross examines fact and expert witnesses, and evaluates litigation strategy.
Before joining Hawkins Parnell & Young, Jenna was with a small Atlanta firm where she litigated cases on behalf of retail, commercial, and hospitality businesses. She defended clients from a variety of claims, including personal injury, premises liability, negligent security, transportation, infectious disease, elevator injury, and environmental. Jenna also evaluated clients’ coverage issues, data security breaches, and workers compensation claims.
Prior to her private practice, Jenna was a Staff Attorney at the Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council of Georgia, where she worked with the Georgia Innocence Project and Georgia Bureau of Investigation to identify wrongful convictions in the State of Georgia.
Jenna has assisted in publications, including the editing of the 2013 edition of Green’s Georgia Law of Evidence and articles. She was the editor-in-chief of her law school’s journal and a research assistant to her tax professor.
After obtaining her undergraduate degree, Jenna was a paralegal for a well-known complex commercial litigation firm. In this role, she assisted in the development and implementation of a Fortune 100 client’s system for responding to third-party requests for electronically stored information (ESI).
