Jasleen Grewal

Biography

A tenacious litigator, Jasleen Grewal defends complex litigation involving product liability, premises liability, toxic tort, and environmental claims. She serves on national coordinating counsel and trial teams for global manufacturers and suppliers of products in various industries. A team player at her core, Jasleen enjoys working with tailored and cultivated teams to achieve favorable outcomes for her clients.

Jasleen prides herself on her communication skills—in and out of the courtroom—with clients and counsel alike. She fosters trusted relationships with clients and advises them on litigation and resolution strategies to help them minimize or avoid potential liability while remaining a fierce advocate for them in the courtroom. Clients appreciate and rely on her fresh and innovative approach.

With her significant pre-trial experience, including defending fact and expert witness depositions, drafting critical dispositive and pre-trial motions, coordinating national discovery plans and processes, and managing all aspects of trial preparation, Jasleen has the skills necessary to help clients navigate even the most complex litigation, from intake to resolution.

Jasleen is also no stranger to the courtroom. She previously served as first chair and tried dozens of misdemeanor bench trials as an Assistant State’s Attorney for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office.

Outside of her practice, Jasleen is passionate about giving back to her community. She is dedicated to providing pro bono services through the Indo-American Center, where she assists with a wide range of issues affecting her community.

Jasleen is a self-proclaimed foodie that is always ready with a restaurant recommendation. She loves discovering new places and cultures around the world through the local cuisine. Having grown up in Toronto, she appreciates the diverse communities of Chicago and feels right at home in the city. Being fluent in Punjabi and conversational in Hindi and French enables her to communicate with people from many backgrounds.
