Hawkins Parnell & Young Expands in San Francisco

June 17, 2020 (San Francisco, CA) – Hawkins Parnell & Young is pleased to announce the addition of four litigators in the San Francisco office. The team of attorneys from Foley & Mansfield includes Khaled Taqi-Eddin, Christine L. Hawkins, and Randall K. Bernard.

Taqi-Eddin is highly regarded by clients and peers for his courtroom abilities. He has handled several high profile cases and tried cases across the United States as lead counsel, including going to verdict in trials involving toxic torts, product liability, employment law, and family law. He has also served as lead counsel in many binding arbitrations. Taqi-Eddin is licensed in California and Hawaii. He obtained his J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law and B.A. from San Francisco State University.

Hawkins has been entrusted by many large international corporations to manage and defend litigation involving products liability, toxic torts, and premises liability. She makes frequent court appearances in federal and state courts across California and has tried several cases posing significant risks to her clients. Hawkins is licensed in California. She received her J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law and B.A. from San Francisco State University.

Bernard defends manufacturers, distributors, contractors, and property owners in litigation involving products liability, premises liability, and toxic exposures to asbestos, silica, and benzene. He also has extensive experience litigating construction defect and governmental tort liability cases. Bernard has defended and managed hundreds of cases through trial, taking numerous cases to verdict as lead counsel and successfully arguing before the California Court of Appeals. Bernard is licensed in California. He obtained his J.D., cum laude, and M.P.A. from Syracuse University, and his B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
