Biography
Within months of joining the firm and graduating from law school, Ashley Henning secured a summary judgment victory on her first motion in the Los Angeles Superior Court Personal Injury Hub on behalf of a contractor cross-defendant client. Ashley is a member of the teams handling equine-related litigation, high-risk premises liability claims, and complex transportation litigation. She applies her verbal and written litigation skills to defend clients against various allegations and participates in all aspects of the litigation process including defending and taking party depositions as well as Person Most Qualified depositions, participating in mediation, drafting motions, responding to and drafting strategic written discovery, and appearing in court for oral arguments on behalf of clients.
Ashley is a member of the Order of the Coif and graduated magna cum laude from the University of California Hastings College of the Law in 2022. During law school, Ashley was a summer associate at a litigation defense firm and a summer law clerk with Los Angeles Dependency Lawyers defending parents in dependence matters. In addition, Ashley earned five awards for achieving the highest grades in her classes and served as a teaching assistant for four different bar courses. Prior to law school, Ashley graduated cum laude from Chapman University in 2019 with two bachelor’s degrees in English Rhetoric & Writing and in Religious Studies where she honed her persuasive writing and reading comprehension while studying intricate texts and historical material.
