Ryan George v. Jane Doe
In March 2014, David Marshall obtained a favorable verdict after a four day trial in the Ryan George v. Jane Doe matter. The legal battle ensued when 17-year old Plaintiff walked home from work, stepped into a rural two-lane road and was hit by a Ford Explorer. As a result, Plaintiff suffered catastrophic brain injuries with damages estimated to reach as high as $10 million. The case was difficult to resolve, so David reached a novel agreement prior to trial that the damages be capped at $2 million.
