Energy Provider Dismissed in Washington Mesothelioma Case
TACOMA, February 14, 2019 – Hawkins Parnell & Young, LLP obtained a dismissal for a client in a personal injury mesothelioma case in Washington. Trial lawyer Claire Weglarz and Michael Giaquinto represented HPY's client, a leading western U.S. energy services provider and the largest grid owner/operator in the West.
Plaintiff alleged he was exposed to asbestos while working as an employee for an insulation contractor at one of the client’s power plants throughout the 1980s. HPY's team secured the dismissal after giving notice of a summary judgment motion based on testimony obtained at depositions of the plaintiff and a co-worker.
